Designation: Jr. Programmer Analyst

Job Description: Jr. Programmer Analyst: research, design, develop and configure software and hardware systems for the maintenance and implementation of business processes and solutions; use knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems; assess and develop specifications for designing software programs to determine feasibility, cost and time requirements, compatibility with existing systems and computer capabilities; communicate with colleagues to identify operating procedures and tailor program to meet objectives; coordinate technical support; evaluate user requirements for applications such as those used for management systems; evaluate and modify system performance; ensure that data and the system are secure; draft documents detailing the software development; draft proposals for process, system status and related activities; tailor software as needs evolve to ensure optimal functioning and upgrade systems as required; provide status updates to colleagues and clients; develop questionnaires for application management and improvement while make recommendations to management; communicate with end users for feedback and instruction; and maintain knowledge of current developments in the industry. A Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science and Engineering, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Science required. An educational equivalency evaluation of the degree as prepared by a credentials evaluation service is acceptable. 12 months experience as any type of Software Programmer, Consultant, Software Engineer, Software Developer or Programmer Analyst required.
