Designation: Sr. Programmer Analyst

Job Description: Sr. Programmer Analyst: research and develop software, manage implementation and tailor systems; design and modify applications for business processes and solutions; use knowledge of programming techniques, software and computer systems to improve work flow; assess and develop specifications for designing programs to determine feasibility, cost and time requirements, compatibility with existing applications and computer capabilities; communicate with colleagues to ensure adherence to operating procedures and software is meeting client objectives; assess if user requirements for applications are being met; determine how system performance can be optimized; ensure that data and software security procedures are up-to-date; draft reports detailing software development; coordinate technical support for clients and users; present proposals for changing the software and development milestones; tailor software as needs evolve to ensure optimal functioning and upgrade applications as required; provide status to clients and internally; manage and coordinate the activities of two Programmer Analysts; develop questionnaires for application management and improvement considering time and budgetary constraints; and maintain knowledge of current developments in the industry. A Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in any field of Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science required. An educational equivalency evaluation of the degree as prepared by a credentials evaluation service is acceptable. The 12 months of experience must be as any type of Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Consultant, Software Developer, Software Programmer, Technology Lead or Test Engineer. $88,500.00 per year.
